Payment Policy
At The Black Ink Experience, we strive to provide a seamless and transparent payment process for all our participants. Please carefully review our payment policies to ensure a smooth and efficient transaction.

All payments must be made in full at the time of purchase of a table. We do not offer table holds or reservations without full payment. We accept the following forms of payment: credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), debit cards, PayPal, and Venmo. All transactions are processed through secure payment gateways to ensure the protection of financial information.

Tables are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis and are only confirmed upon receipt of the full payment. We do not accept partial payments or hold tables based on verbal agreements, email communications, or unpaid reservations. Table selection is finalized upon receipt of full payment, and participants who delay payment may find their preferred table options unavailable.
For late and failed payments, if a transaction is declined, the purchaser must resolve the issue promptly, as tables are not secured until full payment is successfully processed. Any chargebacks or payment disputes will result in automatic cancellation of the registration. Disputed payments will be handled on a case-by-case basis, and participants may be barred from future events.
Upon successful transaction processing, a payment confirmation email will be sent immediately. Any applicable taxes or processing fees will be disclosed at checkout and are the responsibility of the purchaser. Ticket Policy
All tickets for The Black Ink Experience must be obtained through our website. Each ticket is valid for the date and time specified at the time of purchase and cannot be transferred to another event or experience unless explicitly stated in promotional terms.

Tickets are free and in cases of event cancellation or rescheduling. In such instances, ticket holders will be offered a rescheduled date or a refund per the instructions provided by the organizers. Exchanges may be permitted under specific conditions, subject to availability and an applicable exchange fee.

All attendees must present a valid ticket (digital or printed) upon entry. Tickets must match the name of the attendee, and a government-issued ID may be required for verification. Any ticket found to be fraudulent, duplicated, or tampered with will be deemed invalid, and entry will be denied without refund.

Resold or transferred tickets may be subject to verification, and invalid or fraudulent tickets will be denied entry. Official ticket transfers must be arranged through the designated ticketing platform if allowed.

Guests are advised to arrive at during the scheduled event time. No refunds or rescheduling will be provided for no-shows or late arrivals that result in missed experiences.
The Black Ink Experience reserves the right to reschedule or cancel the event due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to inclement weather, technical issues, or other emergencies. In such cases, ticket holders will be notified via email and provided with alternative options.

Group ticket purchases may be subject to specific terms, including discounts or required minimums. Special ticketing, such as VIP packages or exclusive add-ons, may include additional perks and are subject to availability. All special ticket purchases follow the same refund and rescheduling policies as general admission.

All attendees must adhere to the event’s code of conduct. Any disruptive, illegal, or inappropriate behavior may result in immediate removal from the premises without a refund. The organizers reserve the right to refuse entry or remove individuals who violate event rules.

The Black Ink Experience aims to be accessible to all guests. If you require special accommodations, please contact customer support in advance. While we strive to meet all accessibility needs, some experiences may have physical or sensory limitations.

Refund Policy
We strive to provide the best experience for authors attending the event, and we understand that circumstances may arise requiring a refund. Our policy is structured to ensure fairness while balancing the commitments made to event planning and logistics.

For standard table purchases, authors are eligible for a 100% refund, minus any applicable processing fees, if the request is made within 10 days of the original table purchase date. After the 10-day period, purchases become non-refundable, and refund requests will not be granted except in documented emergency situations.

For early bird special purchases, refund eligibility is slightly different. Tables purchased during an early bird special are only eligible for a 100% refund if the request is made within 10 days of the original purchase date. After the 10-day period, early bird purchases are non-refundable, with exceptions only considered for emergency situations.

If an author is unable to attend, they may transfer their table to another author with prior approval from The Black Ink Experience organizers. The original purchaser must notify the event team in writing at least 30 days before the event.In the rare event that The Black Ink Experience is postponed or canceled by the organizers, registered participants will receive options for a full refund or a credit toward a future event or an alternate arrangement as determined by the event team.
We recognize that emergencies can arise unexpectedly. In cases of documented emergency situations, we may provide full or partial refunds at our discretion. Medical emergencies that prevent attendance may qualify for a refund if the attendee or an immediate family member experiences a severe medical condition. In such cases, the request must be submitted along with supporting medical documentation.

In the unfortunate event of a death in the family, a refund may be considered. For travel emergencies, such as a flight cancellation due to extreme weather or other unavoidable circumstances, attendees may submit a refund request with proof of the travel disruption.

All refund requests must be made by completing the Refund Request Form. Any requests made without completing the form will be automatically denied.​ Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days if the request is submitted within the refundable period (15 days from the ticket purchase date for standard tickets or 10 days for early bird tickets). If the refund request is made due to an emergency situation, processing time may take longer depending on the review process and the nature of the request.

Photo Policy
At The Black Ink Experience, we strive to create an immersive and respectful environment for all guests, artists, and staff. To ensure a positive experience for everyone, we ask that all attendees adhere to the following photo policy.

Personal Photography
Guests are welcome to take personal photos and videos for their enjoyment and to share their experience. However, flash photography, tripods, and professional camera equipment are not permitted without prior authorization

Respect for Authors and Attendees
Many of our authors have copyrighted and detailed work on their tables. Please be mindful and respectful when taking photos, ensuring that you do not disrupt their creative process or invade their personal space. Additionally, please respect the privacy of other guests by refraining from taking photos without their consent.
Social Media Sharing
We encourage guests to share their experiences on social media! When posting, we kindly ask that you tag The Black Ink Experience and give proper credit to the artists when featuring their work. However, live streaming and excessive filming are not permitted without prior approval.

Commercial and Professional Photography
All commercial, professional, and promotional photography or videography must be approved in advance. If you wish to conduct a professional shoot, please contact our management team to obtain the necessary permissions and guidelines. Unauthorized commercial use of photos taken at The Black Ink Experience is strictly prohibited.

Policy Violations
Failure to adhere to this policy may result in a request to delete unauthorized photos or videos and, if necessary, removal from the venue. We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining a respectful and enjoyable environment for all.
By attending The Black Ink Experience, you acknowledge and agree to abide by this policy. We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
